Save Our WI Judges

• We believe that the National Federation of Women’s Institutes (NFWI) plans to cease training of new NFWI Judges and withdraw support for existing Judges, is a short-sighted decision based on scant evidence, and does not comply with the WI’s founding principle of education for all women.

We call on the Board of Trustees to re-consider their statement that the wearing of the NFWI Judge’s badge may pose a “reputational risk” to the organisation.
We urge the Trustees to carry out a full consultation of all its members and take into account the views of all interested parties, including those clubs and societies that use NFWI Judges.
